AI Competence Framework version 1.29 issued

Version 1.29 of the AI Competence Framework is issued today. All eight domains are entered in the statement index at every level, with performance indicators and typed relationships. The three overlays and the first five extensions are published in full alongside them.

The release holds 255 statements: 177 across the eight domains, 33 in the three overlays and 45 in the five extensions. The nineteen D3 statements published at 0.1 but withheld from the index are now entered, unchanged and unrenumbered.

Statement identifiers are permanent from this release and are never reused. A citation made against version 1.29 resolves to the same statement in every later release, and any statement that is withdrawn keeps its identifier with a deprecation record rather than being replaced.

Version 0.1 is superseded but remains published at its dated tree for citation. Consultation on version 1.1 opens on 12.10.2026 and closes on 12.12.2026; 1.1 is additive only.

Governance published alongside this release: all nine constitutional and policy documents, the appointment of five directors, the funding record including the concentration threshold, and the first annual accounts.
