Reporting misuse

If you see a claim that looks wrong

Report it. Most misuse is careless rather than dishonest, and is corrected within days. You do not need to be a customer, a competitor or anyone in particular to report.

01Send the URL or a photograph of the material, and what you believe is wrong with it.
02We check the register first. If the claim matches a current listing, we tell you so and close it.
03If it does not, the organisation is contacted with the specific wording at issue and 20 working days to correct it.
04Unresolved cases are published at notices with the organisation named. We do not publish the reporter's identity.
