This notice has been superseded and is kept on the record unedited. Read the notice that superseded it.

Version 0.1 of the AI Competence Framework is issued for public consultation. Statements are entered for D6, Evaluation and assurance, and D8, Security and adversarial awareness. The remaining domains are declared with permanent identifiers reserved and will appear without renumbering.

Every statement at this version is provisional. Identifiers are permanent from the moment they are published: a statement is never renumbered and never reused, and a change of meaning is made by deprecating the identifier and issuing a new one.

Consultation responses are handled through the published contribution process. Every submission is acknowledged, considered, answered and published with its outcome, including submissions that are not accepted.

Issued by the Office of the Framework on 23 August 2026. This text is not edited after issue; a correction is published as a new notice referencing this one.
